8tray n Dizzy
blue
A life in the day of 8tray n Dizzy.
8tray n Dizzy (Andy n Dylan) met during 1994, at the age of 11, and began causing minor trouble. On one hot day during the summer of 1998, 8tray brought in a cover version of a Snoop Dogg song he had written. The two of them began practising, 8tray decided to put his mind to his tiny keyboard(with a few piano lessons {but no grade} to guide him, and Dizzy started putting pen to paper (rizla paper/ toilet paper depending on where he was when creativity struck).
Since then, it has been a gradual climb to quality. In 2000 8tray bought a four-track and then the next year got his hands on a sampler. Since the introduction of this beast of a machine, the duo has been able to produce CD-quality music.
Relativity new to the gig scene, our only previous performance before the Three Fat Fish (so enthusiastically run by our very own HUM), was an event in aid of the Red Cross in Cardiff called Global Village. It was a gathering of people from all countries living in Cardiff. That's right, we represented the West Country.

Devon is not the most hip-hop influenced area in the land, but thanks again to HUM for allowing us to give it some on stage.
