advice needed please
2 months ago i got two female albino ferrets which are sisters and about 3 yrs old. When i recieved them i noticed they were in season so took them to the vets to have the jill jab . I noticed after about 10 days to two weeks that one ferret constantly attacking the other ferrets neck and dragging her back to the sleeping part of the hutch. On closer inspection i noticed the one being picked on was back in season so i took her back to the vets and she was given the gill jab again . This has now bought her out of season but the last week the same behaviour has started to happen again but ive checked the ferrets bits and there not swollen to indicate shes in season again . The ferret that is doing the attacking isnt marking the other ferret or removing any hair from her neck or ear where shes grabbing so im a bit lost at what to do ? is it hormones playing up in her and shes thinking she should be mating and trying to with her sister as shes the only ferret there? the ferret thats being attacked is laid back she just takes it but looks to be in pain sometimes by the constant pulling .any advice gratefully recieved thanks

Re: advice needed please
ok, dont worry about this, id say the other ferret is trying to dominate her, are both of them out of season or just one? if just one of them is then the other female will be trying to dominate her, if both are out of season then id suggest asking a vet and telling them your problem, iv come accross this my self but the ferrets were jill and hob the hob was in season and the jill wasn't, its quite a carry on as kits are quite hard to get rid of. could i also suggest getting the girls spade as they would both calm down and theyed be both spade and dominiring would occur less.
