65 Splitty Project
Hi all,
I'm Dean from Lincoln. Was given your details by AndyP with the Lupo from the lincstorque.com forum.
I've had many VW's in the past, including-
Mk1 golf gti running a Turbo Technics engine
VR6 Golf
VR6 Corrado
G60 Corrado
But this is my first air cooled toy -
It is a 1965 Splitty, completely original, original paint, original 1500 engine and completely rust free. Freshly imported from California. No mot at the moment, but hoping to have that rectified soon. (Along with frontal accident damage)
It's not going to stay standard for long, porsche brake conversion, airbags, narrow beams, IRS conversion, performance engine, etc

Went up there today, absolutely fantastic to have a specialist on my door step. I think my camper may well be up there quite a bit!
Pughdog, is yours more damaged than mine? I think mine is pretty bad!
