Weighed in the first batch of Scrap this afternoon - £ 227 , its a good start, mostly down to the efforts of mr sutton, but anything is welcome - I am still collecting ready for the next batch so anything metal you need removing let me know emoticon

That's a hefty sum. I have some rims,just need to take the rubber off, and some body parts (not mine I hasten to add) emoticon

I have a tyre removing machine at work - so can strip the rims - did 12 today, although its a manual one so a bit on the energetic side
The only problem is getting rid of the old tyres - without them becoming an environmental hazard
 emoticon

Aha, last time I took some tyres off I used a plank of wood, a hammer and an L200.... With the amount of interest in recycling tyres, it'll not be long before used tyres become worth something....
