GT Rich grinding the roof welds straight at Graeme!

Image

he was lethal with the grinder, firing sparks everywhere

Image

so Alex pretended to set fire to his head! whoops, may have got a bit close!

Image

don't worry Rich, it'll grow back in no time

so, on with the lead loading of the roof join

Me too, and I'm fully SatNav'd up now, so finding obscure places isn't an issue...... emoticon

lead loading

still a fair bit of lead loading to do but looking much flatter

Image

we've got to make this join good as everyone will be checking it out at shows knowing where it is!

Re: The JagerBug - Club Racecar

today started with me digging out a pair of Day Mouldings front wings from the garage at home, these ones are to go on my Jeans beetle but we can use them to make sure the front valance fits nice and square on the Jagerbug

Image

Keith from Day Mouldings is making us a set of 4 as we speak so they'll be on the car in time for Dubfreeze

the wings were bolted into position so the vance could be squared up

Image

dare i say the Jagerbug is beginning to take shape now!

Re: The JagerBug - Club Racecar

with the handle and strike plate in place the bonnet fitted quite nicely, just a bit of minor juggling about needed

Image

i began stripping what paint was left on the pillar and gutters

Image

whilst GT Rich wire brushed the lip on the rear quarter to find the spot welds
