Re: The JagerBug - Club Racecar

anyway, back to the photo's

we had as many d/a sanders going at once as Alex's elecetric would allow!

Image

thankfully with so many new panels on the car there wasn't much prep work to do on the bigger panels

Image

a pretty dusty job

Image

and as was the case for most of last week, it was all hands on deck

Ok, let's just say that after a full day (over 12 hours) of filling and prepping this was the car on Friday evening around 11pm

Image

all panels were ready for paint after a good clean down

Then Alex did his magic with the spray gun

I left at around 11.45pm with most of the shell in paint, it looked cool but as I say, the pics have been corrupted so you'll just have to take my word for it emoticon

I was in work on Saturday morning so was unable to help with the rebuild. There was a full team there by the time I pitched up around 1pm

I was greated with this

Image

a pretty cool looking rolling shell in primer emoticon

I'll post the pics I have but I know Rich has sme others from Saturday morning so hopefully he'll be able to fill in some of the gaps

Re: The JagerBug - Club Racecar

with the shell all one colour we fitted some temporary decals to the car (it helps having a member of the team work at a company that can produce them!)

Image

Image

Alex and GT Rich were busy fitting the 'Herrod's Helper' spoiler so kindly donated to the project by Danny Allen of www.Dubz-by-Dan.co.uk (this isn't the only part donated by Dan, he's a top guy and we really appreciate his help emoticon

Image

the decals had been designed to fill the space perfectly

Image

and if I do say so myslef, looked pretty damn cool when finished

Re: The JagerBug - Club Racecar

with some rear lights, number plates, handles and special valve caps fitted, it began to finally look like a car ready for Dubfreeze!

Image

We pushed it onto the trailer around 3pm and set off for Stafford

quote young lad in street "Wow! Is that one of them race cars mate?" emoticon

we arrived at the showground, pushed the car off the trailer and rolled it into the show and shine area
