A few pics from last night -

Our new short race axles arrive - and our chrome trim

Jagerbug was pushed out of its garage & given a good wash by Rusty GT

Meanwhile Nick and Graeme were working out the best way to cut the ally door and rear panels

and Paul was degreasing (and de -snailing !) our first crankcase

Looking shiny and clean again emoticon

Rich then advised on the best plan for cutting out the panels

whilst I removed the studs from the cleaned crankcase redy for machining

before offering up the wbx crank

then facing the case up on the miller

once the car was in the garage Rich quickly stripped the rear suspension

then readjusted it to make the car sit better at the back

and Nick offered up the freshly cut panels

Managed to fit a bit more machining in yesterday -

Resized the rear bearing journal to take the WBX bearing

As you can see its a bit bigger than the stock type 1 bearing - resized the seal area to take the wbx seal too

Wbx crank now drops into the case nicely (dont know why the hammer was in the pic - but it wasnt used to persuade it to fit ! )

Case halves torqued up to check for tight spots - turns smoothly but with a little resistance - no tight spots though and no obvious marks on the bearings

then it was time to open the case up for the 94mm pistons and barrels

looking better

Barrel tested for fit

Last job yesterday was to mod the case for the full flow oil return

Boss reduced and gallery plug removed

Tapped out to take the oil return fitting

More pics soon emoticon
