how much more do you need got a little bottle on my welder,
if its only a drop to finish the frankenshroud.

a couple of pics of tonights progress, I won't post any engine related ones as it'll put the thread out of sync as Alex still has a few uploading from the last few days

I spent most of yesterday afternoon and this evening measuring up, making a cardboard template then finally cutting this out of ali sheet

it's the panel to replace the boot floor

don't worry, the other side is the shiny side emoticon

I made sure the entire area was masked off before trial fitting to avoid scratching the cage etc! :eek:

after a bit of fine fettling, it dropped nicely into place

then onto the complicated one (as if cutting the top one to fit around the rollcage wasn't tricky enough :lol: ) this one is to be fitted diagonally down from the top piece with two angled bends in it

ok folks, bare with me, with the amount that's been going on some of these pics will be posted out of order and with little if any technical explanation

don't worry, I'm sure GT Rich will be along shortly to fill in any technical info that anyone wants to ask about :lol:

due to limited space in the engine bay (the raising of the gearbox remember?) the fan shroud needs to be 'modified'

a combination of an early smaller shroud and the internals / cooling power of a later one
