so, do the underneath myself and take it to Volkskraft for the channels then?

I have an old hand pump sprayer somewhere you can play with - the main difficulty this time of year is getting it liquid enough to spray!

if you stand the can in boiling water it makes it easy to spray emoticon Remember you can never have too much waxoyl - Naomis 62 has over 8 litres of wax in it - 3 of wurth Cavity wax (what vw use at the factory) and 5 of waxoyl emoticon

Just to strengthen the case for Waxoyl..
Paul (Bratley) always waxoyl's both our cars' sensitive areas for the winter - his new Beetle, and my not so new Passat! emoticon

NEED HEATERS!!!

Brrrrrrrr emoticon

Behaved faultlessly though otherwise apart from occasionally geting stuck in gear when the clutch is down for a while then when you go to put it in neutral, it wont come out of gear until you stall it. Did that to me a couple of times on the way down and a couple of times before that emoticon

Tried to put in the half moon vents. Got one in after a lot of work and the other one still isn't in after even more work. Took all the filler out the hole but it is so thick in the surrounding area that the vent wont stay in emoticon

Good to have a Bug again nonetheless emoticon
