New friend

Yesterday it feelt like it should in our hobby.We had a David Simmons here in Grand Rapids.I had a nice time.We spend the whole afternoon together and talk pigeon.First at my home and after that at Samir's.I hope he learned something here that could help him to improve in his loft.Bad I did not have any extra birds but at least he got a nice kite hen from Samir.What I mean by it feelt like it should.I in our old Country we used visit each other very often and exchang knowledge and experience.Yesterday I learned a bit about some other so called strains of Oriental rollers here in USA.David thanks again for coming to Grand Rapids.

     That is what keeping pigeons is all about~~~enjoying the birds and good friendships. My mentor from 1955 is still alive alas poor guy remembers no one but will be a dear friend until the end!
     Glad you had a good visit.
     I talked to Amir yesterday I am sure we will become friends through this hobby as well!!

Amir,I had a great time and wish to thank you and Samir for taking your afternoons to spent with me. Hopefully next year we can do some honor flys. I had so much to think about I was home before I knew it. Thanks again. Dave
