I read it. Now I have witnessed it. I believe. I have read that the FORs perform better when they are flying by themselves. I have had so many birds to fly recently that I haven't had a chance to fly the three Fehrholz birds by themselves. Every time I open the door to the kit box, my old birds bust out - ready to go. The problem is these old birds are White Carneaus (Kings), Carneau mutts, and BRs. They are really lazy and will only fly for a few minutes then land in a tree. Today, I was able to get two of the Fehrholz birds out by themselves. What a show! I am completely amazed by their performance. They would fly up at an angle and flip four or five times in a row. Several times they drop-rolled together for 25 feet or so. One did the helicopter move which I have never seen before. They were constantly doing something. My back was so sore from building a new kit box that I finally had to come in and sit down. They were still going at it when I left. I read where you all said they did better by themselves. I had no idea they would be that much better.
I should have my new kit box ready tomorrow. I am going to put the three FORs that I am flying now on one side and all of my squeakers on the other side. I should have two good kits flying hard in a few months.
All of my breeders are getting ready for another round. Several laid eggs before I took their older squeakers out of the nest. The others have laid or are ready to lay. I guess I am going to have to build another kit box.
I have been waiting for this for almost two years. I love it when a plan comes together! Now if I can just get some Buff & Tuff Hens, I will be set!

Re: I read it. Now I have witnessed it. I believe. The Fehrholz birds haven't gone really high but twice. Both of these times were when there was a huge murder of crows flying around. All of my pigeons will bolt every time a crow comes around. They would probably go high but the other birds keep them down.
Alan, I don't have any Kelly birds. I just have the Fehrholz birds and the four Husband buff & tuff c o c k s that I got from you.
I have the Husband c o c k s in with my squeakers and they started eating out of my hand over the last few days.
Re: I read it. Now I have witnessed it. I believe. Micheal thats good that you have seen it. I like to fly mine in three to ten or eleven. They will do good up to about fifteen but I cant keep up with that many. I have made every mistake you can make with them so if you need to know just ask.
Its great when they do the unison breaks. You wont get that from any other line except Fehrholts. I have seen twelve break at one time. First time I thought I was imagining things.
Re: I read it. Now I have witnessed it. I believe. Sorry, sometimes I can't match the nicknames with who's who. It's the other Michael, "Yankee Mike" that has the Kelly birds.
