Re: kit boxes Yes, its best to fly them from kit boxes. The main difference is they need a little more room because they are larger and more aggressive.
I like to only fly one strain together. They don't seem to fly/perform correctly when multiple strains are mixed in the same kit
I have found it's best to fly anywhere from 3-12 per kit. If you do more, they end to break up into multiple kits.

Re: kit boxes Have a few extra perches in the kit box, the adult cоck birds tend to be a tad bit mean. I fly my Fehrholz birds the same as Birmingham Rollers and I do get some great breaks. I like 12 to 18 bird kits. The only difference is they need more feed then the BR because they will fly longer, higher and faster. The same goes for the BR if you have out flyers, cull them. They don't add anything to the kit. I have flown up to 50 in a kit and yes they will break off into smaller groups but will rejoin the main kit sooner or later. This is still fun to watch.
