Try Getting Your DM Like This
For those of you who don’t know what it takes to be a Master Breeder in Germany. And would like to know just how much it takes for Mr. Fehrholz to have his DM for one yr. And he has several DM’s over the years for his OR’s. The following is a copy of what Mick Bassett has sent over to us. Please keep in mind as you read down the list, these same birds that he shows in the big cage shows, are many times the same OR’s he will take to a Fly Contest and put Fly Championships on them as well. No walk in the park!!
A Deutscher Meister (German Master Breeder) can ONLY be won at the VDT Show (so only one opportunity per Year) (there are 'Regional Masters' and such) you need the followiing,
* 5 Birds, Hens or cоcks, all of one Colour/Marking (and off-course the same Breed!)
* all have to be current year Bred, so are (Young cоcks, Young Hens Classes)
* they need to get a minimum 97-95-95-95-94 or any other combination to give the
* Total MINIMUM of 472 points (Grades)
* you pay for the privilege of 'Competing' (8 euro)
* there must be at least three other Exhibitors (total 15 birds)
* IF another exhibitor gets 1 point more than you, they get the DM, you don't
(And that is a DM/ MB for just for ONE year and ONE breed and ONE color.)
