Re: Breeding I decided to put some of my pairs together. No, I didn't sell our house! I live 50 miles from Alan and the coldest its got here so far this Fall was 21 degrees and that was two mornings ago. Last winter we had ice in the livestock water buckets 15 times. We had snow on the ground two times and ground snow lasted for four days. Four days ago we had our first snow this winter. I loose from two to six babies each year to the cold. Not like Minnesota when you go out in the morning and find that many froze stiff. "Up nort" we start breeding Feb. 14th. The end of May is the end of breeding season here. It gets to Damm hot.

Re: Breeding Sometime has lapsed between the last post. It's now March 2009. I just put all my breeders together. The weather here(Ohio)has been up in the high 50's and mid 60's thus far. So Iam not too worried about getting started. Looken for a GOOD breeding season. Good luck to everyone this year.
