Alan....what color were the parents?? Maybe their was a ----- in the breeding loft.....LOL Really now, that is an unusual looking bird.

It was bred in a loft of all Fehrholz birds. The parents are both Black Mottles. It's just a freak of nature I guess. It has to be a Black Mottle with the mottling only on the tail.
Here's a photo of the mother. The father looks just the same. This pair produces Black Mottles, Blacks, Red Mottles, Reds, Bronze Mottles, Kites and Recessive Whites.
