Change of Ownership

The BOD’s of the Flying Oriental Roller Society has voted to end their official ownership of this forum. All rights and responsibilities will be transferred over to a new private owner. The BOD’s will still fellowship here and encourage the membership to do the same. The new owner promises non of the precious information on the husbandry of our breed will be deleted.

The new owner also promises the forum will be a fun, safe and positive place to come and talk with others about our wonderful breed. He will be solely responsible for the forum and it’s content. The FORS will not be officially connected to the forum in any manner, shape or form. If you have any questions regarding the management or content of the forum, please contact the new owner. Do not contact the FORS!

As the owner of the Board I would like to lay out a few expectations I have for the users. First of all it needs to be understood that this is not a club Board, nor is it a public Board, it is a privately owned forum and I will be your host. Think of it as a big party and I am your gracious host and have invited you to come and fellowship with others. Think of it not as a public gathering, but as a private gathering at my place. And everyone’s welcome! Since I am the host, I will be responsible for the attendees safety and actions. Of course that requires me to lay down a few expectations for behavior. What I am asking is that we all users conduct ourselves with class, and help keep the Board a FUN and EDUCATIONAL place of FELLOWSHIP to come visit. When someone gets out of line, the moderators will hide the offending post and inform the user in private and discussion can proceed from there. Public debates about Board policy will not be allowed. The theme of the Board will be fun and educational fellowship, please keep this in mind when sending a post. There’s no set rules. We will leave the interpretation of misbehavior up to the moderators. This also includes myself. I have picked Ed McMoran as the other moderator and he is not afraid to correct me when I am out of line. We reserve the right to ask a user to leave the party at any time if we feel he no longer will be a positive presence. However, we will do all in our power to make sure there is no other choice but to ask him to leave. I trust the Board will truly be a fun and educational place we all can enjoy. We promise to make sure this type of atmosphere is preeminent. ENJOY!

All of the forums regarding the FORS are in the BOD's archives, they are not lost. If you have any questions regarding any of them, contact one of club officers.

We are looking for a very light colored FOR picture for next years picture bands. Do you have any in mind? It has to be very light colored, like a white or light mottle. The band color will be black with white lettering and need something contrasting.
