Tailfeathers I have a bird(OR) I acquired recently and it's new tailfeathers are VERY slow at opening from the quills. Some of them have been showing 1 inch of feather for 2 weeks now and still not opening fully. This bird was stressed through being shipped airfreight and I'm wondering if the stress could be a cause for some deficiency resulting in a slow recovery from the moult. Is there anything I can give this bird to help it along?Oyster shell, mineral grit and lots of oily seed in the form of safflower and canola is already in it's diet.
