Re: Training Notebook
You might get lucky and have them drift back in.Insn't it wierd how you always lose your favorite birds? I had a stock of NY flights up once and a coops came in on them.I said, man I hope he doesn't get the yellow hen,(only one I had)yep you guessed it,out of all the birds he snags that hen!

Re: Training Notebook
Hi everyone,
Alan, I had the same happen to me when I first got them. I flew all four in the after noon like 5pm. Two of them came back but two didn't. They really hit the skies high fading into thin air. I'm not sure how many feet away they were converting to miles but they were out there. Both missing birds came back the next day. This happen 6 times again every time I let them out in the afternoon. I tried flying them again in the afternoon but with two of my fireball, they all came down together and flew lower. I noticed that if you fly all fehrholz they eventually skyout and one or two birds would be missing and would come back the next day. They would still perform but not as often when mixed with other breed. For now, one pair has paired up but the other hasn't paired up yet. I'm not sure what's the youngest bird to breed, but as for these pair, there lockup and awaiting to have offsprings. I hope your birds would return, and wish you luck on your training.

Re: Training Notebook
I have seen in the posts that some think the birds fly and perform better if they fly with thier own family lines well I started flying my Husbands and my ferholtz birds in seperate teams and I can't believe the difference that it makes the blacks go high and perform more and the Husbands go about half as high and perform about twice as much as when flying mixed with the blacks. Made a believer of me.
When I flew them mixed they all went high and would sky out some days since I have seperated them I have not had the blacks sky out yet but it still may happen.
