Re: Older FOR's
bpd506... It's been 2 weeks since I started my experiment with my (8)unflown older Husbands and the (3)yougsters that I raised from them. I have also done some remodeling in the breeders section to accomidate them. They have been out several times. At first they just walked around on the ground and soem ventured up to the loft roof. Soon after, some took flight but only for a short distance, making acouple of circles around the area and landing back on the loft roof. I have them flying now for about 10-15 minutes. Iam still working on the "trapping" situation. Getting them from going into the loft from the avairy door,to a set of trapps. They are getting better each day that I let them out. But it is a "slow" process....lol. So,I guess what Iam saying is. It all depends on "YOU" as far as getting your birds settled. Trust in yourself and be "patient" Good luck
