Looks like I lost one
Well looks like I lost a young Buff cоck today. I let the 11 bird team out this morning and about 10 minutes later I went out and was going to watch them at this point I noticed only 10 flying. I quess a BOP got him on the way up. I did not see it happen so I am just quessing that is what happened.

Re: Looks like I lost one
Bob, many times when they just disappear like that they have rolled down. I had a Buff cоck rolldown/disappear on me yesterday. The kit wasnt out of sight but thirty seconds and werent acting like they had been chased so I assume he rolled down. I have to update my losses on the other thread though as I lost a few to BOP also to overflies.

Re: Looks like I lost one
THAT COULD BE RIGHT AS THE OTHERS WERE FLYING IN A KIT LIKE NOTHING HAD HAPPENED. THE YOUNG cоck WAS JUST STARTING TO ROLL AND WAS DOING ALOT OF 100 FOOT TAIL SKIDS SO MAYBE HE FINALY GOT INTO THE ROLL AND WENT DOWN.
TODAY I HAD THREE BIRDS UP AND ONE WAS MY MOSAIC HEN AND ALL STARTED THE SRAIGHT UP FLYING PATTERN AND I NEW A PERI WAS ON HIS WAY ABOUT 20 SECONDS LATER HERE HE CAME ON A FULL 80 MILE AND HOUR DIVE HE SINGLED OUT THE MOSAIC BUT DID NOT HAVE A CHANCE SHE DID A COUPLE OF QUICK MOVES AND DOWN SHE CAME LIKE A ROCKET AND LEFT HIM LOOKING AROUND LIKE WHAT HAPPENED. THE OTHER TWO JUST WENT HIGH AND KEPT WRIGHT ON FLYING LIKE NOTHING HAD HAPPENED.
