Re: Looks like I lost another one It's the same with Bass fishing. The Bass (predator) will hit a lure in a school of shad before he will try for one of the Shad. That's why shad school and why Pigeons fly in a flock, it confuses the predator because it can't zero in on one individual as easy but if there's an odd one in the flock it can single it out over the flock as a whole.

Re: Looks like I lost another one nick,
yes!!! i know exactly what you mean about the flights.they did sparkle and attracted all kinds of BOP'S while flying. The boroughs of n.y.c was a place for hawks to have a rooftop buffet because there were thousands of flights, tipplers and homers flown[as you know].They weren't particular of color, sex or breed either soooooo i guess we'll have to put up with it for a while longer. One thing i did notice about flying in ga. is that you never know when a good fly day will be.Sometimes we go weeks without seeing a BOP and then their all over the place. In the beginning,it was exciting to see a diversion but now its getting costly BUT LIKE A WISE MAN SAID ''FLY DON'T CRY'' and hes right.[author; Sippi]
good luck to all,
