To be honest with you,I think the flash may just help the hawk spot your bird from farther away.Might even get crows to chase your birds. Just a guess though,there's only one way to find out for sure. Nick

Careful what you post here.Don't want any bunny huggers to think we are hurting anything.It wasn't long ago a whole shwag of guys in Texas,California and Oregon got busted over harming BOP.
How about those Chinese pigeon whistles you can attach to a birds tail.They sure make alot of noise and the henery don't seem to like it.At least till they get used to the noise it will keep them away some.
