Husbands of Color Okay guys, here is my question. I have been reading about other colors of Husbands other then Tuffs and Buffs. Can I assume that they would be like a different family of birds all together. As far as having problems with mixing up the colors. Or should they all be pure to their own color?? Iam a bite confussed about this. I mean if they are all Husband strain they should all be comparable with each other. Right??? I need some of you with EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE in this area.

Re: Husbands of Color Paul, There is a topic called "Who is Dale Husband?" where we discuss this very thing in detail. Follow this link to find it. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Re: Husbands of Color Thanks Alan....Since I have some of your Husbands. I was just curious, if I could thru breeding then get some of the other
colors, such as black, silver and blue bars.
Or would I have to get those color birds and breed them into the ones I already have?
Re: Husbands of Color You won't get any blacks, silvers or blue bars out of those. Those are a different strain. The strain you got from me are called "Tuffies." They only produce Tuff, Red Bar Tuff, Buff, Cinnamon, Cream and some variations thereof.
