Samir birds.

Hey Samir or someone that has his birds. Now what type of flying performance do these birds have? Are they any good at hawk evasion? Also I heard they are down from the Nelson birds. Just curious as like to know whats going on with other strains and families of For's..

Breeding for both abilities. My current strain of Husband birds perform and outfly hawks. The kind of question would be to gain knowledge on this family of birds.

If I buy from you 2 or 10 of your birds can you give my garantie in written form that if i loose them to the hawks you going to pay me money back for every single bird lost to the hawks? And than I am going to fly them against hawks to see how superior that strain is.

Why are you being confrontational with me? I dont sell birds. I only buy them for my own pleasure in flying them. And yes I do have birds that get killed and eaten by hawks. In fact my first post in the raptors section was about this. Seems like you do not want to answer my questions and would rather be angry at me instead. I take it then that these birds are not very good at outflying hawks?
Your friend Bruce...

Amir I believe that Bruce question was not out of line if you go back to earlier posts you will find that some of the flyers would go out with their portable lofts and look for BOP'S and when they found one they would turn their birds out to fly against the BOP'S purposely. I would think that they were more interested in the hawk evasion skills then the performance. I maybe wrong on this point I am looking for other points of few.

Nobody is angry with you.The idea about OR-s outflying hawks got many people to buy OR-s and many of those people also got very disapointed after they started to loose one after another to the BOP.That is what is wrong if you or me or anyone else spread that idea.I think that would do more harm to the breed than any good.Or-s are great flying birds no doupt about that, but that is roller not a sonic jet.See nobody is angry only comon sence and a loots of experience with OR-s as breed.Same in Europe and same here. I did not se any difference in that breed neither in Europe or here in the states and believe me I know a bit about OR-s.

To Bob I am not Samir.I am Amir.If I have birds that I do not care about I do fly almost the same way and watch those skills my self but still you can notspread that aroun .Some people believe in some things and than get some of the birds and loose and than they loose interest in the breed.

I make it a point to tell people that most for's are better at out flying bop's BUT we loose birds to bop's also just not as many as I loose of my Racers % wise.
