Step-by-step Guide To Signing-up To The Message Board This guide will hopefully assist those who are new to Internet Forums through the set-up process. I have circled links and buttons in red that you will need to click on to progress to the next stage.
Step 1: Click on ‘Sign up’ that can be found in the top right corner of the title page as seen below:
Step 2: You will be presented with a form to fill-in. When you have done this click on ‘Create my account’ at the bottom of the screen:
Step 3: The next screen will inform you that your account has been created and to expect an e-mail with an ‘activation link’.
Check your e-mail Inbox for a mail from ‘account-activation@runboard.com’.
Step 4: The e-mail will contain your ‘activation link’ at the bottom and will look something like this:
Click on the link.
Step 5: The link will log you into Runboard (our Forum provider) which you can see in the bottom left corner in the image below. You will also be told your 5 digit password which you may want to change to something more memorable. Make a note of your current password then click on ‘Continue to my Control Panel’.
Step 6: The top-left button will allow you to ‘Change your password’:
Step 7: Finally, choose a new password for yourself, enter this on the page below and click ‘Submit info’:
When you return to the Message Board ( http://bfootscraymeadows.runboard.com/ ) you will now be able to post your own comments! (something which I will be writing a brief guide for soon aswell in case you’re unsure how it works).
