Re: Freddy Joining Reading
i find it hard to believe itd be Reading. If Inter Milan where interested then Reading wouldnt have a look in. if he was to join a championship side, why not a good one? no offence to reading fans.

Everyone has to start somewhere, You cant just stroll in to a top flight club with little experience.

Re: Freddy Joining Reading
If he's as good as people say then yes he can.
You forget, he's only 16, Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool are all investing heavily in young talent as it seems to be the only way they'll be able to take on Chelsea in future.
Is Adu better than Theo Walcott?

Re: Freddy Joining Reading
Don't forget Reading just broke Liverpools record of 31 wins in a row at 2nd tier level that stood for over 100 years.
Reading are a very professional setup and well thought of by MLS bosses.
Freddie would be better playing regularly for Reading than being a squad player at a big club. Marcus Hahnemann wasted a few years keeping the subs bench warm at Fulham before he joined Reading and now look how much he has improved.
Booby Convey has come on leaps and bounds at Reading too, they know how to get the best out of US players which is something many UK teams fail to do.
Freddie joining Reading for a season on loan from MLS will do his carear the world of good.

Re: Freddy Joining Reading
dont be sayin reading arent good enough for adu cos he probly wudnt even make the team. mls is such a weak league compared the top leagues in europe. wen rooney was his age he was performin in the premiership at a good standard as well as totti for roma. Adu is overated and he'll be at a mid-table premiership club at best.
