making scrying mirrors hi everyone,
some of you may be familiar with scrying mirrors, other of you wont. today i decided to go and try making my own since mirrors for sale are so expensive. if you are interested in scrying here is a very cheap method for making high quality mirrors.
here is what you`ll need to make your mirror, go to a local dollar store or another store like walmart or target and get a picture frame in the size you like with a frame border you like, make sure that your "mirror" is glass, not plastic! now go and get black paint and a paint brush.
once you have these items take the glass and wash it with windex or whatever glass cleaner you have. now take and paint one side of the glass. you`ll see that you have to be very gentle or the paint will peal easily. be very gentle and take your time with letting the paint dry before you add more. once you have covered this side of the glass with the black paint take a look at the other side. you may see that its streaky and there are spots where you can still see clear spots. go back over the paint again but blot it! make it thick and dab it on, making strokes will still cause the streaks.
Once you see the blots have made the other side of the glass look full and deep black let the paint dry and put the glass in the frame. make sure the unpainted side is outward, this is where you`ll look into.
easy enough just remember, be gentle with the painting and blot the paint thick, dont stroke or it wont fully cover everything. once you have it all finished up practice and have fun with it!

An easier method to try is to cut a piece of black paper or card to the exact measurements of the frame and insert it under the glass. Works like charm

people use scrying mirrors for different reasons. some people use them during goetic evocations to see and communicate with those spirits, you can use it as a tool to let your subconscious mind take over and see images that are meaningful to you, you can use it as a gateway to the astral plane, lots of different uses plus ones I cant think of at the moment.

i have black bowls so I`ve tried to use water instead of the mirror. for me I more results with the mirror, but thats just me. if you dont have results with a bowl then try making a mirror and see what happens. im wanting to make a new scrying mirror (my last one broke when i moved) and they are not expensive to make
