I have a strange question...
Now the situation is kind of hard to explain... my ex-stepfather is very much into tarot cards, he believes in them more than anyone really should. I remember him letting me use them once and then telling me that he shouldn't have because your not supposed to let other people use your cards. So then I got my own tarot cards. Then a few months ago I discovered my stepfather had been reading my journals, going through my stuff, spying on me, etc. So I began keeping my journals and tarot cards and other important things in a locked box. Now a few weeks ago my mother split up with my stepfather but I found out that before we moved all of our stuff out he had broken into the box, and he had been using my cards. So I'm wondering if any one has any idea why he wanted to use my cards when he has his own. And also I feel as though my cards are somewhat tainted now, should I get new cards?

hi,
who knows why he used your cards. if he broke into a locked box my guess is he`s just a weirdo. for all we know he could have broken in to read your journal, saw the cards, liked them, then used them. he may not have even had the intension of using them before breaking into your stuff. if you feel they are "tainted" then go ahead and get a new deck if you want.

I understand why you feel your deck is tainted - something doesn't sound right about that man  I would get a new deck if I were you.

As far as him using my cards because he liked them, he's the one who bought them for me! But yeah he's a weirdo. I guess I will get a new deck. Thanx for the help ^_^

You could always just cleanse, bless, and charge the deck that you have. That's what I'd do.

Yes, i agree with Anubis Rainhawk, buying a new deck isn't nessecary. You could just cleanse and bless it. Those sort of spells shouldn't take long. You can buy a new deck if you wish. As for why he would want to break into your stuff and use your deck.......to me, its kind of weird. I really dont know, maybe he has a fetish or something. But yes, just cleanse and bless it and all should be well.
