Tea Leaves
I don't know if anyone has ever had this problem but I find drinking gritty tea quite gross. Every instructions tea leave reading I've ever read said to leave the leaves unfilterd... this does not make for the best tasting cup of tea. Any one have any pointers?
Thank you

Re: Tea Leaves
If your interest is tassomancy, you could also just...pour the liquid out.
But it seems kind of a waste, no?
Mm. If I were you, I'd pick another form of divination to specialize in. You don't have to be able to do all of them, afterall.

Re: Tea Leaves
Hey Rose,
Thats a very good idea... get inside the character's head. It's the best way to make the story convincing.
I started writing a story about a girl who had a magickal secret and in one scene, the girl has her secret discovered by strangers. When I write, I envision myself in the character's place. Every time I picture that scene, my heart beats more quickly and my adrenaline starts pumping, as if I were there.
I think what ur doing is cool and very beneficial to the story

Re: Tea Leaves
I am by no means an expert, but if you want to use the tea leaves for divination and not waste the tea just pour out the tea... into filter positioned over a cup.
Whenever my tea bags break I just get my little sifter much like this one
and put a coffee filter in it and the put that over my cup and pour in the tea so I have a leaf free cup of tea and I don't have to drink tea leaves.
If you can pour out the tea instead of drinking it I don't see why you couldn't do this so as to not waste it... hopefully someone else will know for sure if it is ok.

Re: Tea Leaves
I just hate wasting things... I mean I've been known to take notes in margines of other notes.
Thanks for the advice I'll give it a try!
