And with that, you have pinpointed precisely why I have not started to work on any pain in the ass titles. For all we know, they may say "Cartographer titles will get you a specially-skinned compass in GW2!" And every character starts with a standard compass anyway.
When I know more details, I'll go for the truly aggravating ones (skill hunter, cartographer, etc.). Until then, I am just going to make whatever progress I deem to bring me some enjoyment.
