1) Yes, I own GW.
1a) All campaigns + GW:EN
1b) Playing for 25 months
2) Main (really only) char's name is Tara Sirona
3) As much as we can stamp our feet and look the other way, GW has become disparate in some areas and while going it alone isn't out of the question, it gets stale after 25 months. I want what you all want - some humans around who are willing to play the game the way it was envisioned, and the way it once was in it's heyday. It adds personality to the environment, which (though it really shouldn't need to be said) is kind of the point of a multiplayer game.
4) Specifically, the keywords "populated", "active" and "community" are appealing. I like that you're inclusive, but not trying to babysit. I like that you're laid back, but still maintain organized activity in the guild.
5) GW is the first game I've played with any real guild structure. As such, it's the only place I've been in any real guild structure. However in the past, the best elements of membership in GW guilds have been purpose, organization, and specifically guild cohesion. Having 30 people online who never play together is just as bad as nobody being online at all (which are my larger dislikes).
6) I play ~5-11PM EST, Ontario, Canada.
7) I browse gwguru, but I generally don't post unless I've got something to say that hasn't been said a thousand times before. If I do post though, it's under the alias "Jessyi".
8) Technically I can use TS, but years of using cleaner, clearer Ventrilo leaves TS grating on my eardrums. I find it lags, echoes, and sounds choppy. If you have a miracle server that isn't too bad, I'd be happy to use it. I don't say much, but I can at least listen when the situation really demands it. Like a lot of people, I just prefer listening to music more. tl;dr: yes.
9) I plan to play PvE exclusively in HeEt.
10) I heard about HeEt on gwguru under the recruitment subforum. Something about the post caught my eye though I can't remember what it was. Since then, the post has been cleaned out in accordance with thier policy, so you can see this is something I've been considering for some time now.
11) HeEt's ladder rating is of no consequence to me.
12) I haven't been offline for more than 4-5 days in my 25 months of playing.
13) It's been more than a year since I've played anything other than a monk. I have a warrior, necro, and ranger in prophesies with access to the other campaigns but they've been nowhere but to capital cities Kamadan, Kaineng Center and Shing Jea Monestary. They have appropriate equipment and armor but are very dated, lacking any skills outside of prophesies, access to areas outside of prophesies, or heroes. I have little interest in developing them further. Like most monks I play a prot hybrid in regular use, but I use about 40 templates including smite buffers if I'm in the mood to make something cry.
And that's all I have to say about that. I await a reply, and I'll probably find and PM Dannzzigg Invictus tomorrow to let him know I posted here.

Uh...the first one, and Factions. I plan to pick up EotN as well.

I started the very first weekend of beta testing and formed a guild with a few players I met online.
1c. If no, when do you plan on purchasing the game, and which chapter will you be buying?

I do not know for sure yet, but it will either be a derivitive of Dayala or Valykar.
3. What are you looking for from a guild?
A home. A place to play with others that share my gaming attitude and style. In short, I want a drama free, welcoming environment that I can help build upon.
4. What about the HeEt philosophy do you like or dislike? Please be specific.
Specific eh.... I like the attitude that we are people first, and gamers second. I like that Heroes help each other, give to the guild to help everyone progress, and the overwhelming ability to have with others.
5. Have you ever been in a guild in another game, and are you in one now ? Explain what you like/d about or dislike/d about it ?
Yeah, I am currently the GM of a guild in WoW...but please don't hold that against me.  I like the bonds that are formed with the same players over the months of gaming. I like working towards a common goal with agroup of others. I like have friends to play with.

Usually, I can play from 7:30-10:30 Central. I am usually playing daily.

I prefer Ventrillo, but have TS as well.

I prefer to play PVE. I like gearing a character and progressing that character. However, I have the mostfun possible in game while fighting in GVG

I met a guy named Dannzigg (spelling?) during the original Beta weekend, and helped him forge a guild that apparently can last through the ages. I followed a few others into the World of Warcrack...and have finally stumbled my way out. I hope to return to GW and HeEt.
11. Guild Wars has a method of ranking guilds in terms of their PvP records called the Guild Ladder. How important is ladder ranking to you?
Ladder? That is like asking an Islander fan if winning the Cup is important.

I prefer to play ele and monk...but with the new chapters, I may find a new build I prefer. I loved healing parties, and running in gvg.
On a personal note, I love HeEt. I loved it when I was an officer here, and I would love to come back and game with the old gang, as well as meeting new Heroes to game with.

A LOOOOOOONG time ago I was the member of an AWSOME guild here in GW, but was tempted by the dark side and my will was not strong enough to withstand the calling os WoW. More recently (like yesterday) I was the GM of a Guild in World of Warcraft, but I stepped down due to some RL issues.

-> I currently own all 3 campaigns and GWEN. I have been playing GW for a little over 2 years.

-> Sydney Blackmore - Ranger / Lo Chi Chin - Necromancer

-> I am looking for a guild of people that enjoy playing all PVE aspects of GW. I have 9 active characters in the game and so I like moving around alot. Some days I feel like doing dungeon crawls or missions or FOW/UW runs. Therefore I am looking for a group of people that enjoy playing the game together.
4. What about the HeEt philosophy do you like or dislike? Please be specific.
-> I like the goal of the guild to create a group of active members who share the same goals and ideals.
-> I like the fact that you let your members do whatever they wish to and do not require any level of participation. I mostly enjoy playing together but I do enjoy some solo time as well.
-> I think having a loosely defined structure is a noble idea but I am curious if it makes decision making difficult. Do you require a certain number of members to vote on new policies?
-> My general comment about the guild's philosophy is that it sounds good. However, I have been a member of a number of guild's that preach a similar creed and in all cases it always starts out good but the willingness to help out and answer questions seems to lessen after a while. It seems that most guilds have a core group of people that play together and it is sometimes difficult as an outsider to break into that group.
5. Have you ever been in a guild in another game, and are you in one now ? Explain what you like/d about or dislike/d about it ?
-> I am currently a member of the Signet of the Lion. The reason I am looking for a new guild is that most of the guild activities are at times that I am unable to
participate and it seems that most guild members only attend guild functions. I am getting tired of playing by myself or in PUGS.

-> I play in the early evenings during the week and on weekends. I am in the Eastern Time Zone.

-> I am able to use TeamSpeak but I am not a big fan of it. I find it a distraction to be talking and playing at the same time. However, I realize that for some missions it is an advantage to use it.

-> I am 100% PVE and I do not have any interest in playing PVP at this time.

->I usually play caster professions in groups : Necro, Ele, Mesmer, or Monk. I do enjoy playing my Ranger as an interrupter and splinter/barrager as well.

The main thing I am looking for in a guild is happiness. I want to join a guild where everyone knows each other and just enjoy playing the game with one another. I would like to be able to farm with Heroes and progress through the game with them. I would also enjoy PvPing with them.

I really like and support the HeEt philosophy. I like the part of the guild using TeamSpeak and the forums to stay in touch with each other. I also believe in not discriminating against other types of gamers. We all have different tastes and need to respect that.

I have been. A guild called Divine was founded five years ago. I was lucky enough to join them ten months ago in a game called ArchLord. The game started to die and we decided to move on. I talk to many of them still today and hope to play others games with them in the future. I check the forums of Divine on a daily basis.

I live on the East Coast in the United States so I play usually every day between 6:00pm-10:00pm EST.

I will use TeamSpeak while I play. I believe TeamSpeak builds a stronger guild and alliance.

I enjoy farming for gold and than using that gold to help myself and other members. But like everything farming can become boring and that is when I like to PVP. I play MMOs for PvE but like to kind of play half PvE/PvP. After I get all the skills I want I will usually PvP for a few days and go back to try and capture some new skills.

I made a post on Guild Wars Guru and Keegen sent me a very nice PM describing Heroes.

Rankings mean nothing to me. I do not wish to play with some stuck-up Guild Wars players who only strive to be the best. I wish to play with ones who strive to have fun.

I believe I can. I plan on checking the forums everyday even if I am not able to play the game.

I enjoy playing my Necromancer the most. I am working on getting my Ranger to level 20 and probably will be playing him a lot. I am going to play with him and see how I like it. I enjoyed playing a Hunter in World of Warcraft and believe I will enjoy playing a Ranger in Guild Wars.

Just want to start things off, saying. I looked at this as the best possible guild for me out of all guilds in the guildwarsguru forums. I liked everything I read, and it seems we share the same interests in gaming.

I own all but Eye of the North. I will be purchasing it soon, just tight on money atm.

I really want a guild that's very active with it's members. I want a friendly atmosphere where everyone knows each other and plays together. That's the kind of Guilds and game play I enjoyed for the last 2/3 years that I've owned this game.
I also like guilds that are very helpful with members. Like working on new character builds, or just getting someone through a mission.

I really like the way you expect your members to treat everyone with respect and courtesy. That's a very important thing to me, as it provides everyone with the best game experience. I like the 4 week rule, it seems to be a good amount of time, because I myself takes 1-2 weeks off once in awhile, because I am busy with other things.
Now things that I didn't like...
The Age requirement seems high. I have played many games online and I have meet many people under 18 (but above 16) that are just as respectable and mature as someone who would be older then them.

Well "clans" in Diablo 2. it's aorta like a guild, but it's basically a PVP thing and a "image" thing. I never really liked them because most were just ****y, and didn't really care about anyone, and treated most people outside the "clan" like crap.
I know this isn't "another game" but I feel i should mention it. When there was no factions or Nightfall I was in a guild called PoS {Priory of Sin). We were mainly a PvP guild, and we were top 20 on the ladder for a good month, but everyone split up eventually. But what I was getting to is that, That guild was what I liked. They were willing to do w/e and just have a good time, do random things with each other and help out one another when needed. It was a great time, and I haven't enjoyed GW's the same since.
That's what i'm hoping this guild can be.

Lately I have been playing quite a bit. I play on central time, mostly around 12pm-12am. On average I play 4-5 hours a day, sometimes more sometimes less.

I don't post on them, but I do surf many other sites. Wikis/INCGames/GWVault and some other ones.

I have used it in the past, and I'm willing to use it. The only reason I haven't downloaded either TS or Vent is because I don't have a mic, but I would definitely download it once I became a member.

I haven't played the pvp aspect of the game in a long time, but It is my favorite part of the game. I just been lacking the guild to play it.
Right now I have been trying to finish NF in pve. I'm also finishing my necro's 55 build and my warrior's farming builds, so I can farm gold.
But I like a balanced play. A little bit of pvp a little but of pve, and some farming. I guess whatever others are doing is what I like to do.

I was browsing the guild forums on Guru, and I came across it in the pve guild thread. This was the guild that seemed to fit my gaming tastes the best.

Not much. It's kool to see a high number, but that's not my motive, I just want to have fun playing... whether thats losing or winning.

-----I enjoy the fact that this guild seems very accepting and open to a wide style of gamers. I also like the idea that there is n domineering leader.

-----I began in a guild called the Last Chivalrous Knights. My main problem with them was that no one was ever on. I briefly joined another guild but it was a kurzick guild and I prefer Luxon.

I'm looking for an active PVE guild that does a lot of elite missions and hm dungeons together, with some AB/PVP mixed in. Most importantly, cool ppl with little or no drama or leeching/handout requests every 5 mins in alliance chat.

I like the focus on comraderie and helpfulness, and I get the impression that the guild is pretty active overall.

Yes, I was in the top guild on one of the more active Everquest servers. My char was the 'puller' (scouted ahead, pulled mobs in small groups to the guild army for slaughter) so when a new area was released, I was the 1st to see it on my server  . Loved the team environment in EQ, disliked how much time was wasted in travelling or preparing for big fights.

A few hrs whenever I can during the week days, most week nights and weekends. Pacific Standard time, Orange County - CA.

Do not currently use teamspeak, had trouble getting Vent installed on my Vista PC.

My main char has been a max LB/SS/UB paragon for a while and has all areas unlocked, but I also like playing necro (any build, finished all 4). I have a derv through all 4, and am working on getting ele through GWEN followed by mesmer.

1a. If so, which campaign(s) do you own Fractions
1b. How long have you been playing? About a month
1c. If no, when do you plan on purchasing the game, and which chapter will you be buying?
2. What is the name of your main character? Mordred Reddner
3. What are you looking for from a guild? A guild that make you feel accepted even when you are a brand new player or veteran player. I would like to learn more about PvE, PvP and all other aspects of this game from other people that can guide me.
4. What about the HeEt philosophy do you like or dislike? Please be specific. I like the aspect of all players being equal, it make this feel more like a friendly place to come and enjoy. I have played other online games and never have understood how climbing a ladder is the final ascent. If you can not enjoy the game with friends what fun is it.
5. Have you ever been in a guild in another game, and are you in one now ? Explain what you like/d about or dislike/d about it ? I have never been a guild before here or any other game. I have played with others online and thet will try to cheat you or get mad if the think that they are better than you, most of the problems I have ran into to are due to maturity of the player.
6. What times and days do you play? Please include time zone, state/country etc... Almost 3-5 days a week, times anywhere from 7:00 pm to 12:00, USA, Illinois, Central time zone.
7. Do you frequent any of the Guild Wars fansites or other forums? If so, what name do you post under? Since I just got started in Guild Wars I have found the websites "guildwarguru.com" and "guildwars.incgamers.com", I have not yet posted anything as of yet Iam still trying to read and learn all the information on those sites.

As I said in the above post Climbing to the top of the Guild Ladder is not important to me personally, I would like to compete against others around the world but being #1 is not a concern to me.
