The Hero Q&A

Because The Philosophy that Heores Etc... is based upon is central to our recruitment, as well as the way we play the game, we find it very important that all prospective recruits have read the philosophy and understand how it is applied in our day to day activities. Please read it, if you have not already done so here: HERE!
Please take a few moments to tell us a little bit about yourself. While we do not wish to be seen as an elitist guild with exclusionary recruitment practices, it is important that we screen potential members to ensure that we will be a good match for what they are looking for.
1. Do you currently own Guild Wars?
1a. If so, which campaign(s) do you own
1b. How long have you been playing?
1c. If no, when do you plan on purchasing the game, and which chapter will you be buying?
2. What is the name of your main character?
3. What are you looking for from a guild?
4. What about the HeEt philosophy do you like or dislike? Please be specific.
5. Have you ever been in a guild in another game, and are you in one now ? Explain what you like/d about or dislike/d about it ?
6. What times and days do you play? Please include time zone, state/country etc...
7. Do you frequent any of the Guild Wars fansites or other forums? If so, what name do you post under?
8. Do you (if not: can you) use TeamSpeak? Teamspeak is a voicechat program which allows guild members and allies to communicate via headsets and microphones. More info can be found here: Teamspeak
9. As best as you can, describe the balance of PvE/PvP that you play or would like to play.
10. Where did you hear about Heroes Etc...?
11. Guild Wars has a method of ranking guilds in terms of their PvP records called the Guild Ladder. How important is ladder ranking to you?
12. Heroes Etc... has a minimum activity level for both our message boards and in game of two weeks. Can you meet this requirement?
13. What profession/s do you prefer to play in a group? It's always nice to know wehre you fit in

What happens next?
After filling out the questionaire and posting your answers, your post will be reviewed and our members and officers will be given the opportunity to comment. Assuming the feedback is positive, you will be named a Prospective Member. Prospective Members get additional access to the Forum, and an "In Game" invite to the Guild. Usually within 2 weeks a decision will be made based on your interaction with members. Some Membership decisions take longer, some shorter, it mainly depends on what type of feedback is left by our members, and more importanly, how much interaction you have had with guild members.
Our goal is to make the best of the opportunity that is provided by a Prospective Membership, to allow both the applicant and the rest of the guild to get a good feel for each other to better ensure that Heroes Etc... is the right guild for you, and you are indeed a Hero.
