How will holding an item effect the energy requirements of Blinding Surge?
Normally you'll just be casting, then dropping to get the party wide heal. So it won't affect it at all.
The nice thing about PWK is you can use it defensively as well. If warriors are converging on you, you can cast and hold it while you kite. The +24 armor equates to a 33% damage reduction, which could make a big difference in surviving a melee spike.

Re: Team Build Discussion, Feb 08- Pressure Part Deux
plus you can use the insignias on you armor which gives you plus while holding an item. Heralds insignia. Then you would just run around with the item until you drop it. Then you would recast it. Permanent +34 armor and party heal every x seconds.

What do you guys think about the idea of Recuperation on the rit runner?
>>Rit Runner<<
Would seem to work really well in our hall, and could help replace some of that AoE defense that left with the Paragon and really screwed up the build in the first place.

I like it. The extra regen would certainly be handy.

Re: Team Build Discussion, Feb 08- Pressure Part Deux
The spirit effect on NPCs is no longer in place of course they say that they are rolling this change back. However, I think that should play into the decision if we should run it or not.

Re: Team Build Discussion, Feb 08- Pressure Part Deux
I think the real value of the spirit is near the flagstand, helping mitigate pressure through the earlier stages of the match. It could essentially give us a bit of a buffer against damage that would otherwise eventually pile up and cause us to break.
If we are looking for +3 regen to keep our NPCs alive, then I think we'er probably alerady at a severe disadvantage, and no one skill is going to make the difference one way or the other.

Re: Team Build Discussion, Feb 08- Pressure Part Deux
Agreed. I was only considering it as a team buffer, not anything for the NPC's.
The great thing about our hall is that you can place it behind that house on our side of the flagstand, and it will cover the entire flagstand area.
This location will also protect it from line-of-sight attacks, as well as being near our NPC's for protection. So if a warrior tries to push to take it out, he will aggro the front door NPC's.

Here is the ever-secretive Sword Warrior build I have been using. I find that it does a great job of allowing adrenal build-up and delivers quite a potent spike.
