Trident Runner (Backup for Utility Runner Monk Build)

Storm Djinn's Haste
Strong knockdowns, frigid armor is great for our GH. Blurred Vision for second GoLE spell. Aegis chain frees up one of the monks. No healing on this build because it is designed to push the flag through with healers supporting it, other times the utility monk will be doing the flag running. Also a good build to keep enemies from capping the flag when we have flag control, or keeping enemies stuck in the lava when defending our base.
Could pull out Aegis and go a different route, thats just what we have been using recently so I setup the build to use it.

Interesting setup. This character could serve very well on the midline at the flagstand in a balanced build until it's needed for running duties.
With Trident and Gale, you've got knockdowns vs moving foes, plus a non-conditional one if you really, really need a knockdown and don't mind the exhaustion. I can see this character providing pretty solid support by keeping people on their backside to disrupt their attacks/casting, not to mention BLurring warriors, sins, dervs and rangers...

If we get the timing right we could hit them with Water Trident and then Meteor followed by Gale to keep someone down in the lava for a several seconds. Then hit with a slow that character may not even make it back the way they came.

Much tougher to do than it is to type. The knockdown from Water Trident is only effective if the target is moving. You'd have to sit and wait out the knockdown and fire off WT as soon as they started moving again to actually knock them down.
