Yeah, I suck at PvP, and generally had no fun with in in Prophecies. Random Arenas were too annoying, and it was hard to get a nonguild group to work together in teams. -_-;;

Hmm, Fort Aspenwood, I might just have to give that a try. Hell, I need a way to build Kurzick Faction anyway. Niva needs Gothic Armor to match her Gothic Shield... (Now if only I could find a decent Gothic Axe...)

Re: My favorite MM build

I swear by my necros. I know this is not considered a Prime Build, but for PVE,
my favorite build right now is in combo with Olias
Sometimes I add Master of Whispers who is full SS Curses.
Olias is Blood and Death. He carries Blood Ritual, Taste of pain, Shadow Strike, Blood of the master and either Flesh Golem or Tainted Flesh and some damage dealing Blood spells that don't reduce his health too drastically.

I carry Rebirth,
Healing Breeze,
either Rotting Flesh (if Olias is going Golem and I am not likely to meet humanoid enemies) or Flesh Golem (if Olias is going Tainted Flesh),
Bitter Chill,
Fetid Ground,
Deathly Chill,
Animate Shambling Horror and
Animate Bone Minions which really helps keep my energy up as they die.
I also found that the two Bone minions, though weaker, actually inflict more damage in combination. Right now I have 16 in Death, 12 in Soul reaping, 9 healing and I tossed a couple into Prot to reduce the length of time the target's skills are disabled.

I've messed around as a MM from my usual secondary as a Nec.

I'm not too familiar with swome of the skills you are using, but I do love Shambling Horror. I like that you get two minions for the price of one out of it.

There's also a skill (I believe it's elite) that enchants a minion so that if they die while enchanted, a Jagged Horror is created from their corpse. ust think, if you were to use that on the two weaker minions, you could have a horde of Jagged Horrors running around in no time!

Shambling Horrors are also nice if you run the Rt/N MM like I do. All of your "When you create a creature" enchantments trigger again when a Jagged Horror pops out. More energy, More Health, more Damage, whatever ones you got stacked on there.

I usually go Full Spawning, Full Death, and a few points in Restoration for my "Flesh of My Flesh".

Got something like...

Boon of Creation
Spirit's Gift
(Sometimes I put in Explosive Growth, though as often as not I drop it for a Signet of Capture)
Animate Bone Minions
Animate Shambling Horror
Animate Vampiric Fiend
Blood of the Master
Flesh of my Flesh.

It's, different, from other Necromancer MM builds. Sure, your undead are like 2 levels weaker, and you can only have 8 rather than 10 at once. However, you can escalate pretty fast from Bone Minions, to Horrors and Vampires. Also since Spawning Power gives them additional HP, your minions even with lower levels are going to stick around a lot longer.

I did the math once. It was something like a full MM's Shambling Horror has 400 HP vs mine having 680 HP.

Also Spirit's Gift will heal everything near your creature as you create it (Meaning usually all your other Minions), and remove conditions. I find my undead are pretty damn tenacious, even against all the AoE that is thrown around in Elona or Cantha.
