Necro MM skill bar/techniques help...
Could one of our excellent Minion Masters post their skill bar, as well as general tips on successfully running a minion master necro?
Thanks in advance!

Re: Necro MM skill bar/techniques help...
Well, I am by no means an expert, but I usually run:
Death (16)
Blood (11 ish)
Soul Reaping (9)
Beast Mastery (2)
Items: the dessert collector items for fast cast and fast recharge. I have a few extras if you need, or we can run and get you some....
Skills:
Animate Bone fiend
Blood of the master
Verata's Sacrifice
Well of Power
Vampiric Gaze/Life syphon
charm animal
comfort animal
Rez sig
If you have a monk with heal area, you can drop Blood of the master.
Basically, I use the corpses to raise minions, and if a group of pets are near a corpse, cast Well of Power at that location. Wells will go off at the closest available corpse, so keep that in mind.
I run Verata's sacrifice every time it is recharged. This keeps a +10 regen on my minions for 21 out of 30 seconds. When needed, I cast a blood of the master (BoM). Since BoM is nearby, I have learned to walk slightly forward then stop to cast. Every time you stop, the minions will group up right around you, so BoM is most effective then.
I use Beast mastery for a walking corpse. Your skill bar will blackout when your pet dies, and then you can cast off Well of Power for the casters (if you are in a non-corpse area such as UW/FoW etc...) Also, the bar will blackout when you raise the pet. However, if the pet dies soon enough after the rez, your bar will not blackout again, so if you are in FoW, keep sending in the pet and you can keep remaking wells after the first round of blackouts!
I know that some mm will use both fiends and horrors, but I have found that any warrior will love having only the ranged fiends. So- that is why I don't generally run Horrors. I like to keep my meat shields happy-happy!

Re: Necro MM skill bar/techniques help...
Thanks again for the great guide for MM. I modified it a tad since I'm a N/Me, but otherwise the guide works great.

Re: Necro MM skill bar/techniques help...
My SF-setup, PvE-MM-only:
death 16
soul 11
blood if Dark Bond is equipped
curse if Shadow of Fear is equipped
collector staff for death if possible, even without any heads or wrappings
technic, keeping undead alive:
Animate Bone Fiend
Animate Bone Horror
Blood of the Master
Verata's Sacrifice
Taste of Death
Infuse Condition
Rez-Signet
free slot
free slot:
Dark Bond, litte poinst in Blood are enough
Shadow of Fear, litte poinst in Curse are enough
No damage spells, waste of free slot in my opinion, so no Deathly Swarm or whatever.
This build depends on a team for the first corpses. After that, it's a rushing meat factory.
Alternate between Animate Bone Fiend and Animate Bone Horror.
Keep Infuse Condition running, just read the description for Verata's Sacrifice. Valykars notes concerning Verata's Sacrific are ok, use Blood of the Master between breaks. If your army is to large so the undead in the back row don't receive any healing from BoM, then let them group behind you, then use X or C, can't remeber. It's for fast turn around. They will then try to regroup behind you. Cast BoM in this moment. If you face many warriors, use Animate Bone Horror in the initial phase, they have higher armor rating.
Use every available corpse, if things get hot, don't forget to use dead party member corpes. Rez them afterwards. If you see some Bone Horror or Fiends clump together, use BoM next to them. Even if this means to stand right in front line. If warriors pass the front line, target them, when they attack your fiends. Fiends die very fast under warrior attacks (lower armor).
Something i experiment with is Dark Aura as last skill. Trigger it in the front line with BoM and use Taste of Death for health managment.
technic, basic Death Nova setup:
Animate Bone Minions
Taste of Death
Verata's Sacrifice or BoM
Death Nova (Staff Wrapping of Enchantment is a big help)
Rez-Signet
free slots
Animate Bone Minions -> Death Nova -> kill them with Taste of Death
Verata's Sacrifice or BoM just for keeping them alive between breaks until next enemy group.
A last thing for energy management. The high Soul Reaping attribute helps to benefit from every dead. If you need energy (very seldom), trigger Soul Reaping with Taste of Death.
