I think that's why I enjoy Mesmering so much. It's so damn hard to get it right that when you do, you really feel like you've accomplished something.

Kinda like staying alive as a Sin, or making that great save on a teammate at 1 health when monking.

Kinda off topic, but there are a couple of pre-emptive strike style skills you may want to consider for interrupts as well. They don't require twitch timing, either.

Shame and Guilt will interrupt either the next spell cast on an ally or against an opponent, respectively. They are like a delayed interrupt. I've been using them extensively in PvE as I've gotten to the harder areas. It really helps limit the damage output of the ele mobs.

That's exactly how I do my shutdown mezzing. I move back and forth through a few critical targets and spread the hex pain.

Dont' forget Web of Disruption. While it's unlikely that when the hex ends interrupt will catch someone in a critical skill... well, it doesn't hurt. emoticon

And there's always the chance that someone could remove the hex by accident or miscommunication when they're doing something important.
