Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
This is a spin-off from the party buff build based on some feedback from Pyx and Peleus.
It's dependent on a team build that is using Searing Flames ele's as the nukers.
Paragon/Monk
Level: 20
Leadership: 14 (12+2)
Healing Prayers: 12
Smiting Prayers: 3
- "There's Nothing to Fear!"
For 11 seconds, all allies within earshot take 31% less damage. Affected allies are healed for 52 Health when this Shout ends.
Energy:15 Cast:0 Recharge:10
- Angelic Bond [Elite] (Leadership)
For 33 seconds, all damage suffered by target ally is divided equally with you.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:5
- "They're on Fire!" (Leadership)
For 10 seconds, allies within earshot take 33% less damage from foes suffering from Burning.
Energy:10 Cast:0 Recharge:10
- Signet of Rejuvenation (Healing Prayers)
Heal target ally for 63. If target ally is casting a spell or attacking, that ally is healed for an additional 63 Health.
Energy:0 Cast:1 Recharge:8
- Dwayna's Kiss (Healing Prayers)
Heal target other ally for 51 health and an additional 30 health for each enchantment or hex on that ally.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:3
- Glowing Signet (Leadership)
If target foe is Burning, gain 14 energy.
Energy:0 Cast:0.25 Recharge:20
- Balthazar's Spirit (Smiting Prayers)
While you maintain this Enchantment, target ally gains 3 adrenaline and 1 Energy after taking damage.
Energy:10 Cast:2 Recharge:0
- Either Rebirth (if another hard rez is needed) or Sunspear Rebirth Signet
Obviously he would be weilding a staff or wand/focus for the extra energy. Hopefully 14 Leadership, the Glowing sig, and Balth's Spirit will be enough for e-management.
Probably something that should be tested first.

Plus... you know... make sure that your party has Burning on the table.

Looks like he's got that covered.
Andovar, would this character possibly be able to maintain an enchantment on a target? I'm thinking (off the cuff) something like Life Bond.

Re: Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
It's worth a shot. Although that would use up both of my energy regen pips.
Another thing that we would have to test.
Although I thought we would have a separate monk bonder in the build. Or is the idea to do without the monk bonder?

Re: Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
Just thought of something else. Since I'm monk secondary it would probably make sense to switch out Signet of Return for a monk hard rez.
I'm kinda partial to Rebirth for PvE, but I guess it depends on what others in the build would bring.

Re: Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
No set plan- just exploring options...
My own Paragon is still meandering around the starter island, so my experience is particularly limited, but doesn't the primary attribute give you good energy mangement through the ending of shouts and echoes?
Still, I had forgotten about there only being two pips of regen, so I don't think a maintained enchantment would really be viable.

Re: Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
Actually you get the energy back for each affected ally of your chants/shouts.
So assuming everyone's within earshot, "There's Nothing to Fear!" will have a net cost of 8 energy, and "They're on Fire!" would cost 3.
I'm more concerned with what monk skills I would bring, and how much that would impact my energy.
Hopefully the tank can hold the aggro, in which case the Angelic Bond/Balth's Spirit combo should be a pretty constant stream of energy coming in.

Re: Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
I have issues with SF teams. Frankly they're never as effective in practice, at least when I'm watching them, than people theorize.
*shrug* I actually wonder about the ability of a Tank to maintain the Aggro in that situation. Don't know about the rest of you, but I've noticed the enemy AI will go and ignore the warrior, even if he's the only one in Aggro-Bubble range, to go after my back line that was nowhere near aggro bubble range before. I can only imagine the carnage involved if the casters had to be in spell/aggro range.
Dunno. That's my one theory. I'd think a lot of Rangers with Burning Arrow and longbows would be the better choice, just to make sure the warrior's the only one in range.
Even though that's not on topic for Paragons. ^^;;
Anyway. If you're going Smite anyway with the Paragon... hmm... Toss in Reversal of Damage and maybe Smite Hex?

Re: Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
I honestly don't know how the tank holds the aggro. But since that team build has been vetted by the community as being effective, there has to be some way to successfully do it.
I'd imagine it has something to do with the tank running well ahead to do the aggroing, so that none of the mobs are in anyones aggro bubble but his. Then the ele's move in and nuke, and the tank holds the mobs there with Ward Against Foes.
Also, I'm not going with smite. This build is purely support. Either healing or prot.

Re: Angelic Bonder (DoA build)
I would think Prot would be better with long running enchantments like Prot Spirit you should get like 20 seconds from that and maybe something to complement the other monk build whatever that is determined to be. Since it will probably be a hero we will have to work out something pretty simple. Plus having more enchants will work good as covers.
