Offensive GvG Paragon
With the recent buff to barbed spear, this build should be able to spread bleeding almost as fast as the ranger can spread poison. But to really take advantage of this extra degen, the mez would need to keep their RC monk shutdown as much as possible. Add in the deep wound, dazed, and burning, and it's some pretty heavy condition pressure.
Mirror might be considered a flex spot. I think having an extra Mirror would be worthwhile. But if we don't need it the points could always be tweaked, and a defensive command chant thrown in there.
Paragon/Mesmer
Leadership: 12 (11+1)
Spear Mastery: 14 (12+2)
Command: 6
- Barbed Spear (Spear Mastery)
If this attack hits, your target begins Bleeding for 14 seconds.
Adrenaline:2
- Cruel Spear [Elite] (Spear Mastery)
If this attack hits, you deal +29 damage. If it hits a non-moving target, you inflict a Deep Wound for 19 seconds.
Adrenaline:7
- Spear Swipe (Leadership)
If this attacks hits, you deal +9 damage and target foe is Dazed for 17 seconds. This attack has melee range.
Energy:10 Cast:0 Recharge:20
- "Go For The Eyes!" (Command)
For 10 seconds, the next time each ally within earshot makes an attack, that attack has an additional 48% chance to critical.
Adrenaline:4 Recharge:4
- Anthem of Flame (Leadership)
For 10 seconds, the next attack Skill used by each party member within earshot also causes Burning for 3 seconds.
Energy:5 Cast:1 Recharge:10
- Mirror of Disenchantment (Domination Magic)
Remove 1 Enchantment from target foe. All of that foe's party members also lose that same Enchantment.
Energy:15 Cast:1 Recharge:20
- Aggressive Refrain (Leadership)
For 21 seconds, you attack 25% faster but have Cracked Armor for 20 seconds. This Echo is reapplied every time a Chant or Shout ends on you.
Energy:25 Cast:2 Recharge:20
- Resurrection Signet ( )
Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. You may use this Signet only once per mission.
Energy:0 Cast:3 Recharge:0

Re: Offensive GvG Paragon
One nice thing about Mirror is it does not require points to use. (At least for now. We will have to see if it does become more in vogue then Anet will require at least 4 points without a failure chance.)

Skye Du Loch (necro)
Jhonnie Macdhal (ranger)
Wunder Kid (monk)
Son of Dhal (elementalist)
Spirit of Dhal (rit)

Re: Offensive GvG Paragon
I'm not too fond of carrying two Mirrors. The energy expenditure is quite bothersome on any character, even a vocal Paragon, which this one is really not.
Of course, if oyu can load a ton of conditions on one target, and then use Hypochondria (instead of mirror) on another, you've just doubled your pressure.
All of this is 100% predeicated by the Mes/Ranger team to keep RC out of the picture.

Re: Offensive GvG Paragon
This build essentially has only 2 energy costing skills, spear swipe and mirror. Their long recharges plus the energy back from GftE and AoF makes it very difficult to have energy issues.
Hypochondria is a really good idea. That could add some significant condition pressure.
