Company of Heroes
Helloween, Sam, and I are planning to get together on April 18th or 19th to play some CoH.
We generally play on the same team against the computer to keep everything friendly.
If anyone is interested in joining you can pick up the gold edition or the new Tales of Valor expansion for $29.99 each. The gold edition contains the original game, and the Opposing Fronts expansion.
Each Expansion is stand-alone much like Guildwars.
If you like WW2 games or RTS games, this is one of the best. We still have fun playing it.

thx Pyx,
hey, i did talk to my boss and i can play during the week (evening) if i let him know ahead of time [i reckon a day or two advance notice, i didn't ask him] when i want off.
also, i still just have the original and currently don't plan on purchasing any expansion pack though i am reading up on them to see if they would warrant the purchase.

We aren't planning to get the new one. If you are considering them, I would wait until they put out a platinum edition, or whatever they plan to call it that includes both these expansions. When they do it will most likely sell for $20.
Gino and I do have Opposing Fronts, so we can play the new classes, you can play with us, just limited to the orignal classes.
Keegen said he might pick one up as well so that will give us 4 to play.

hey Pyx,
if u remember i have gotten a new super duper fast computer a few [or several] months ago. instead of installing CoH again i just copied the CoH directory to my new hard drive as it was much much faster.
this usually doesn't work for many windows programs [however it HAS worked for Guild Wars, so far] as this method puts no new registry entries in the registry. well, it did work for me... until... a new patch came out. on reading up on this on google [troubleshooting] it was the same for others too. as long as CoH isn't patched u can just copy the directory and it will work fine.
HOWEVER, [lol] since apparently another patch came out recently i have had to delete my current CoH directory and am now downloading patches as i type. many are not that big but now i am downloading a patch that comes after version 1.71.0 and it is a MONSTER 1.8 GIG.[cats!]
so thx for telling me to make sure i have all patches.
ALSO, it seems on my end that CoH doesn't let u know u need new patches UNLESS u hit the "play online" option NOT Skirmish or Campaign.
so everyone make sure u hit "PLAY ONLINE" and NOT 'campaign' or 'skirmish' to make sure u have all the patches.

I just have a Duper computer but that's ok, I'm not jealous of all the new rigs bing built. 
Do you need the disk to run the game? If I can get it on to both of our computers I can get Orin to play too.

I don't believe it requires the disc, but The account you create is tied to the disc, so don't think you guys can play at the same time without 2 copies.

Game Time is .... ?
hey Pyx,
time to nail down a time that works for all for CoH game.
if u gino etc want saturday the 18 then it has to be after 4 or 5 pm eastern time as i sometimes work till 3 pm central (my) time.
or anytime on sunday the 19 of april.
just ask the other guys what would work best.
