Gino is only one with Tales of Valor. It allows him to setup games with those maps, and setup enemies to use those weapons, and he also can use them. It is definitely the weakest expansion and not needed, I doubt I'll ever pick it up.
But all 3 are standalone, I don't know what it has available as a standalone only what it adds to existing copies. The Gold edition is what I would recommend since you get 2 expansion that way. Sam I believe only has the initial release.
