D&D Online now free to play. Played it during the beta but didn't want to pay the monthly fee. Guess they have recently made it FtP.

Re: D&D Online now free to play. Looks pretty smart for a game that is losing subscribers. Basically make the game free and leave the subscription fee as a VIP option. I hope this works as I would like to see other games adopt that format.
Re: D&D Online now free to play. I started a character during the new model's beta testing. My two complaints are having to run up to your target before you can attack him (GW spoiled me for being able to click on your target, hit attack and then you would run up to swing away). The other is how much XP you need just to arrive at level 3. But, with those items said, I have enjoyed playing my Great Axe wielding Barbarian.

Re: D&D Online now free to play. Are you guys interested in playing this? I have thought about it for some time and now that it is free I may just go pick up a copy.
Re: D&D Online now free to play. I have it installed, but can't create an account.
Clicking on "Need a username?" from the login screen brings me to the Turbine signup page. But when I get to the "Forum Account" section, as soon as I type anything it says: "Your session has expired. Please click here and restart the process."
Am I in the wrong place? How do I setup an account?
Re: D&D Online now free to play. Well, my almost 3rd level barbarian was deleted and I started a Paladin. But he is not as much fun and requires a heck of lot more xp to level up. I think I need to go back to the barbarian and just hack through everyone again.

Re: D&D Online now free to play. Installing this now, just for the heck of it. I already had the game disk so why not.
What server are you guys on?

Re: D&D Online now free to play. I am not too far along and looking to change characters so just let me know what server you decide on and that is the one I will use as well.

Re: D&D Online now free to play. Ok, just picking one. I'll roll something up on Cannith.
