Couple of things. Once you do misery's peek you cannot group those that have not completed it. This was the last quest we did Saturday. This is referred to as sunny side / snowy side in game. So if we group with those that have not completed it then we will need to roll new low level chars. I might rolls something up just play with. I might be on later tonight. I am headed out and depends on what time I get home.

I'm firing up the game right now. Looks like there's a pretty big update.

I didn't know this, good to know. (sounds a little like pre-searing)
I don't have any characters who have done it yet.

Ran through misery's peek earlyer today with my Barbarian but I still have my wizard on the other side if anyone needs help.

Out of town again for the 10 days or so. Will have to catch up later. Have fun.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticize them you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Played around some more. GOt my full plate +1 in a drop. Pretty sweet. Also almost got to rank 14. I had a good time and grouped with some guys. The in game chat makes it easy to chat with your group at anytime.

gratz,
I like the ingame chat as well, we had to turn down the volume on the sound fx and stuff to hear it ok, but other than that, sounded good.

Hi guys! Been a while. This game is something I used to play for a while. You can do Misery with others IF they have left the area and returned. Once you leave Korthos Island, when you return, people call it "sunny" because there is no longer any snow (except in the area around Misery's) and all of your group needs to be in the same starting area (sunny, where you have been to Stormreach or finished MP, or snowy, where you have not) in order to group. You CAN leave the area and still do ALL of the starting quests. You still get your two bags (remember to open them and click "auto gather") and can also use your bank, AH and buy a quiver from the Chain and Hammer. Then if you like, you can return to Korthos, it just won't be snowing.

Also once you start questing in Stormreach, remember NOT to hit the oozes with ANYthing metal. If you shoot them with arrows, or use bladed weapons, they can SLPLIT into two oozes and they will damage your weapons so that they will break and be useless in the quests. The best thing for them is either using clubs, sold at the Hammer and chain for one copper (they also get damaged fast, but not AS fast), or a muckbane dropped from a rare spawn called Muck that is also an oozenand appears in Durk's Got a Secret. Or, my favorit weapon is handwraps. Some folks just remove the weapons from their hand alltogether and just hit them. Hand wraps dont take any damage from oozes. And you can put them on your quick bar easily like any other weapon set. You can also just put an empty green bar from the area in your inventory where you set up weapon sets (like sheild and sword combo) onto your quick bar and it will make you automatically empty your hands when you click on it.

Hope that helps. I made a bard named Shanty wheo is level 3 on your server. I also have Lanoni who is a pally and Clete who is a fighter there. And Dharlanna is a rogue. Shanty is the only one with any XP so far though.

Hope you all enjoy!

Debbie

Re: D&D Online now free to play.

Well, I finally dropped my ranger, and re-rolled a Wizard/Ingenious Sage class path.
It sounded like a good combination of damage and party assist spells. Which seems well suited to my midliner mentality.

So add Ravodna Nikrevlis to your friends list.
(I really wish the friends list was account based instead of character based)

If I get on saturday, it probably won't be until late. Might be around on friday.
Hopefully I can get together with someone at some point to get over to "sunny side".
