We need to get together a list off all Max stat items, and what collector's carry them. Then make sure none of us salvage these collector items. I know I have salvaged plenty to save inventory space. We can work out something where specific people hold specific collector items so no one person gets bogged down carrying all this stuff.
We should just concentrate on the "End Game" items though, otherwise there are just too many things to collect. So far it looks like the collector's in the Desert area after Amnoon and in the Moutain areas after Droknar's are the ones with Max stat items.
Also keep in mind that there are probably not many if any dropped items that are going to be better than what these collector's carry. The reason they did this was so that PVE players could play against PVP characters in an even match. PVP created characters have access to these Max stat items, so they needed a way to make them available to PVE characters as well. Otherwise we would be running around forever trying to get that "Recharge 20% chance" drop and constantly having 19% or lower dropping instead. Or worse yet get that perfect Healing Staff, only to find it requires 9 in Curses.
By giving Collector's Maxed out gear, PVE players only have to collect a number of items to get it, and not worry about gambling with what type of drops they get.
Generally people should not salvage these items, but hold them in inventory, or give them to a designated Hero to hold for the Guild.

Boy do they need to add guild storage!
Anyway, I've been pretty frugal with my inventory space, so I should be able to take on a few... say 5?
I already have a few Bleached Carapaces, so how about I take/hold the first 5 in the list?

Yeah I have some room too, need to check with Dan though, he may be able to just keep the lot of these materials on one of his alternate characters.
I just know I salvaged a lot of these while I was playing without even thinking, wish I hadn't now, but oh well. If we make an effort to keep them for the Guild so when people are looking for a specific item we will have some stored up, that should be a great help. Of course won't be a requirement or anything, if you don't want to participate and would rather just salvage this stuff that is fine too.

if u click the mob name u get a map of where they r
hold ur mouse over the skill name for a description n stats of the skill
