Qykstrike's Armor
Here's a screenie of Dannzzigg Qykstrike in his new armor. It's 2 parts Seitung armor from Suki in Kaineng Center and 2 parts Exotic armor from the armorer in Waijjun Bazaar and one part Tengu Mask.

I'm usually all about pure damage, but Assassins seem to have many other options available to them. Stacking conditions with Fragility seems like a mean way to go. I may be looking to do something like that.
I went with some anti-conditions armor (20% less blind duration, bleeding too, I think, maybe poison as well. Or maybe it was one of bleeding or poison) instead of the energy set, so I'm doubtful of his ability to throw hexes around. Still, my main goal is probably going to be to kill folks quickly (hence the name).
I've thought about the fragility thing I mentioned above, combined with Distortion (anyone know if this is core?) to allow me to dish out the damage over a better period of time, but until I find distortion, it'sw just a theory. We'll see.

I don't see Distortion in the Factions guide, but I see it in the Prophecies guide. So I'm guessing it is not core. It looks as if you can get the skill through a quest in Ascalon, but I have been unsuccessful in getting any of the quests in Ascalon for my Canthan character... so I doubt you can do the quest for that skill if you started in Cantha. However, the guide also says that you can buy the spell in Yak's Bend. So if you do a little backtracking from LA to Yak's, you should be able to get the spell.

Actually, the way the trainers work now, any Prophecies skill you've unlocked, can be bought at any Prophecies Skill Trainer, and the same goes for Cantha (As I have discovered due to my need to always be demolishing and remaking characters).
So if you have unlocked Fragility in Prophecies (And considering it's one of the first post searing quest rewards for a mesmer, I'd bet yes), you can buy it at Lion's Arch.

Oh, I've got them unlocked but not learned by any PvE character on this account.
I guess ole Qykstrike will be taking a little boat ride soon.
