I have played through POR many times and I have recently heard of an editing program that would allow me to set the character's stats to 25 and create new magic items. I know this is kind of cheesy but I thought it would be interesting to try. Do you know anything about this?

Greetings and welcome Sparky7807! Supposedly there was this hex editor program for DOS called PoolEdit, though I haven't been able to find a copy of it online. You could try downloading a
hex editor and open up one of your characters save file and try changing some of the numbers, though if you are going to do so you should make sure that you have all your files backed up before doing so and keep track of what numbers you change. I've heard that XVI32 is a good hex editor but I have not used it.
