WHITESNAKE & DEF LEPPARD TOUR 2008
The dates for Whitesnake & Def Leppard are out!
June 17 Glasgow SECC
June 18 Birmingham NEC
June 20 Manchester MEN
June 23 Sheffield Arena
June 24 Newcastle Arena  June 26 Wembley Arena London
Bit disappointed that the Newcastle gig is not at 'the temple' as I have a soft spot for the old City Hall but I still can't wait to see Doug and the rest of the band!
www.defleppard.com states that tickets will go on sale to the general public Fri Jan 18th 9a.m. There's also usually a pre-sale for fan club members.
Good luck getting tickets everyone!

Here I go again; and again etc Ad infinitum ? or is that the new sub title of the nEW Wh`<>Svuz Albumus.
As the years whittle by Coverdale and his adoring puppets(poppets) get younger and younger, it reminds me of something out of a H Rider Haggard Novel... `She` in fact.

Oh! Slash is also on tour, or in rehab(Good to be Bad) with Velvet Revolver, through mid March.
Good year already in prospect.

Got our tickets for Newcastle and Manchester. I'm really looking forward to hearing some new WS material, as well as the oldies but goodies, and to seeing Doug again.

If these song titles are accurate I can only say I just hope the music and guitar-playing is more inspired. (And I do have high hopes.)

If Whitesnake are on first at Newcastle I may not stick around for Def Leppard. The other thing i am worried about is Vivian Campbell coming out to do that godawful solo he recorded to take the place of JS's superlative 'Give Me All Your Love' lead.

I did say "may" with that hope in mind. There's always the bar to prop up if Def Leppard are on last! LOL I do like Def Leppard - just the line-up with Steve Clark is my fave - the latest albums have been proper stinkers!
