1987 songs live with John ?
Hi !
Does John ever play live songs live "Is This Love ?", "Give Me All Your Love" or the 1987 version of "Here I Go Again" live ?
by the way he's the most uderated guitarist ever !

Hi!
Unfortunately, we were denied the chance to hear John play these songs live with Whitesnake. Thanks a bunch,DC! The last gig JS played with the band was in Rio Jan'85.
However, you can hear Is This Love live on John's Bad Boy Live! album, which also includes brilliant versions of other 1987 tracks:Bad Boys, Crying In The Rain and Still Of The Night.
John's played SOTN many times with Blue Murder and as Sykes.BBL is a great album and the 1987 songs sound much better than the current WS versions; John's voice is more powerful and melodic than DC's these days and the guitar work is blistering. :tup: No disrespect to the lovely and amazingly talented Doug A but JS simply has the edge when it comes to the 1987 material.
There are a few bootlegs out there with John performing Whitesnake songs. Just PM me and I'll give you details.And buy a copy of BBL. It's brilliant- you'll love it!

I don't know if anyone has heard them, but the 1987 demos are great. There are 2 versions of Bad Boys, and they amazing.

Those demos are far more collectable than the recent Whitesnake 20th anniversary 1987 CD. It would have made perfect sense to put the demos on that CD, but let's not get into the politics...

To me one of the worst things in the history of rock is that we didn't get more material from John and Coverdale. They were the best team ever. Of course I love Blue Murder too, maybe even better than 1987 but I'd still want more WS stuff.
