An Evening With Doug & Reb
Check it out on www.soundsgreatmusic.com on the events page.
Scotty, Simon, Lauren and I are going to this clinic on Friday 26th May in Manchester (Wilmslow in Cheshire,a few miles from Manchester Airport).I am no fan of Reb Beach's playing, (although he does come across as a nice guy),but you must know what I think about Doug by now! :wink: :crazy: :lol:
Tickets are only £6, which is an amazing price to hear someone of Doug's calibre! :tup: 
Is anyone else going?

Lauren and I are gutted as we wont make it to the Doug & Reb clinic after all as we have both come down with a nasty throat and ear infection! The doc's clinic is as far as we'll get. :shake: Didn't want to infect everyone and we both feel so rotten to be missing out. :cry: :cry: :cry:
It should be a great night! Scotty,be sure to let us all know about it (even if I will be soooo jealous! ) We were really looking forward to meeting the man himself and to hearing him perform.
Now we will just have to wait until the Newcastle gigs at the end of June to see the man in action. It seems such a long way off!

There I was just before midnight last night in me PJs and Miss Piggy slippers, nursing earache and throwing hot toddies down my neck like they are going out of fashion. Then Scotty texts me to see if I am still awake. A few minutes later he calls me to say he has a friend who wants to speak to me and it was none other than Doug Aldrich !!!!!!!!!!

I lost my voice on Friday so thank goodness it was back (although I am not sure if the hubby would agree! :lol: )
Doug recognised my name from his message board and is arranging to meet up with us after the Newcastle gig.I was totally freaking inside but managed to stay calm ( sure my temperature soared a few degrees though! :naughty: :heart: :lol: )
What a lovely guy and a brilliant surprise. Thanks sooooooooooooo much Scott! I feel tons better- forget antibiotics, I reckon Doug should be available on prescription! :wink:
