Trivium!!!

Anybody ever heard of them/like them? I've been listening to them since the first album, n thought they were awesome then, but when they released ascendancy, it was like, WOW! I know they prob not teverybody's cup of tea, but why i'm writing this post is quite simple really. If anybody wants to have a chance to own a peice of metal history.

check it out (i'm sorry, i don't know how to convert to a web link, maybe somebody can help???)[see below]

Anyways, its well worth checking out, Matt is a hero of mine (maybe not quite in the same league as JS, but a hero all the same) and i'm definately gonna be havin a go!

Bye for now

Lol! There is actually a lot of melodic bits to them, and especially singing wise there's gonna be a lot more on the next album (or so i've heard!) Your son will love the gig, they are one of the best live bands i've seen, its great how bands are able to shred again now!!! I've got my ticket to the Manchester show (the apollo would you believe, it really shows how much they've taken off over the last year!) but unfortunately i not goin over to ireland to see them this time, i saw them in sept at the spring and airbrake and it was one of the best gigs i've been to, it was like they were playin in a pub, it was awesome! (packed of course!)

Lauren's mates are going to see Trivium at the Carling Academy in Newcastle on 8th March. They really rate them although I must confess I had never heard of this band until the boys told me all about them. Must check out some of their stuff although they informed me that "it might be a little too heavy" for me. emoticon This is the woman who went to every gig from Motorhead to Metallica. Must be losing my reputation as the original rock chick! emoticon emoticon

Tried my best to like 'em but there's just something about 'em that i don't like, just can't get into 'em at all, yet i've loved Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica and Megadeth for years......even dragged a young Samby to Metallica/Anthrax way back on the master of puppets tour.......she's never forgiven me    but it's funny how people think stuff will be too heavy for ya when you're still in your prime  when my boys slag me for not liking Trivium et al i just have to remind 'em that it's not so long ago they were listening to Boyzone & Westlife before turning to the darkside

I've only seen their latest video, and like what I heard.

They play Jackson and Gibson axes, and in an interview one member was wearing an Iron Maiden tee shirt, so they must be cool LOL!

here's something cool, at the recent ozzfest tour, when maiden got kicked off it, trivium were that annoyed, they, wore maiden t's for every show thereafter, had maiden flags hangin all over the stage, and finished every set with the trooper! Can't be bad!!!

Well I really wonder about mrs Osbourne sanity since I saw her in 1981 in the VIP tribune at the heavy metal holocaust festival (port vale, UK) wearing a wolf fur jacket while the temperature was over the 30° celsius. I was just wearing a bikini top and my jeans since it was so hot that day...
Well I can't understand why Sharon kicked IM off the stage because Bruce (****inson) made some remarks about Ozzy (who's completely nuts of course :lolemoticon. Bruce is such a kind and smart guy. Do you know that he's a boeing 747 pilot ? He's got a pilot license and when not touring he's flying those big "birds". He's also an excellent fencer. I had the opportunity to talk about that sport with him... Very interesting guy IMVHO...

I was a fencer too but now I'm into two hands swords fights (much heavier)... And I'm not kidding this time since I always been involved in historical shows (about the middle ages, I love that historical period).
Now just call me Xena of course
